Now they’ve collabed not once, but … twice. Nine-member K-pop group Twice has dropped a music video for their new title track “Strategy,†off their new seven-track release of the same name, and featuring artist Megan Thee Stallion showed up to star in it. This comes after Twice previously hopped on the “Mamushi†remix and dubbed themselves “bad and hot like Meg, nine stallions on your mind.†And the confidence is still going strong in their second link-up. On their all-English title track from their fourteenth mini-album, the group asserts, “Winning is my trademark, soon you’ll never wanna leave / My strategy, strategy, will getcha, getcha, baby.â€
In the video, members Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu outline their steps to getting a guy and dance in front of pink targets. (The way that Jihyo skewers said targets with knives suggests that her love interest’s only options are yes or yes.) Meg later also serves up some moves when she shows up for her 35-second verse, wearing a bracelet with all nine of Twice’s individual representative colors. She’s very direct about her plan to get a man: “Left, right, left right, do it to the beat / Talk with my body, that’s my strategy,†she raps, before posing while surrounded by Twice members. Call her Megan Thee Unnie.
