Paris Hilton got it (the ability to do silly impressions) from her mama. During her and Nicole Richie’s Vulture Festival panel to promote their upcoming special Paris and Nicole: The Encore, Hilton gave credit where credit is due to her mother, Kathy Hilton, for teaching her about prank comedy. As she quoted one of her famous Simple Life lines (“I was born in the Bronx, I like to drink coffee and smoke my cigsâ€), she explained how she nailed the impression her mother taught her — in character, of course. “We do the prank calls together, and we get this voice on. My name is Judy.†After a brief impression of Judy, Paris offered some insight into one of the girls’ foremost comedic influences growing up. “I feel like a lot of our personalities come from her,†she said. Richie reminisced about the “good times†growing up with Kathy and noted of her turn on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: “It’s not a surprise that the world has fallen in love with her.â€
