Get ready to dance, dance, dance with your hands above your head, Wednesday fans. The Jenna Ortega–led show is finally heading back to Netflix in 2025, after first premiering way back in 2022. “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two,” show runners and executive producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said to Tudum.com. “We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”

Below, a brand-new teaser, details on Lady Gaga’s appearance, and everything else we know about the goth girl’s next semester at Nevermore Academy, straight from Enid’s gossip blog.

Do we have a trailer?

Not quite. What we do have is a quick clip of Wednesday reuniting with her nemesis (and ex) Tyler, played by Hunter Doohan, which was released as part of the Next on Netflix event on January 30. In our world, you mostly reunite with your ex by texting “u up?,” but Wednesday is special. Instead, our heroine is meeting up with him at the Willow Hill Asylum. Feel the tension …

Who’s in the cast?

Good question. Netflix unveiled the cast list for the upcoming season on May 7, and three series regulars have vanished from the roster. Jenna Ortega will return as the titular Addams Family character, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán as Morticia and Gomez Addams, respectively. Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, and Isaac Ordonez will reprise their roles, adding Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as series regulars. Guest stars include Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, and Christopher Lloyd, who’s known for his role as Fester in the ’90s movies.

Percy Hynes White, Jamie McShane, and Naomi J. Ogawa will not return to Wednesday as main cast members, Deadline confirmed. McShane, who plays Sheriff Donovan Galpin, will solely appear as a guest star, likely wrapping up last season’s story line involving his son Tyler (Hunter Doohan). Otherwise, Hynes White and Ogawa have exited the show altogether.

Anybody (Gaga) else (Gaga)?

Lady Gaga is confirmed to be making a cameo appearance in the show’s second season, after Wednesday’s dance went viral on TikTok with a sped up version of Gaga’s 2011 song “Bloody Mary.” The dance was originally scored to “Goo Goo Muck,” by the Cramps, but it will eternally live on in the popular imagination as a Gaga moment. We hope this appearance gets the chance to go viral, as well, but we’ll see if TikTok even exists in the USA by the time the show comes out.

What’s going on with Percy Hynes White?

In January 2023, a Twitter user accused Hynes White of sexually assaulting her at a party while she was drunk, claiming he assaulted multiple women and allegedly threw parties where he provided underage girls with drugs and alcohol to have sex with them. The actor denied the allegations in June 2023 with a statement posted on Instagram. “Earlier this year, somebody I’ve never met started a campaign of misinformation about me online,” reads the statement, “Because of this, my family has been doxxed, and my friends have received death threats. Underage photos of me were used, and examples of me acting in character were presented as hateful.” Hynes White also denied broader allegations of misogyny and racism.

When will Wednesday season-two drop?

No release date has been announced so far, but it’s coming in 2025. Like the first season, we bet it’ll drop on a Wednesday.
