As its name implies, this vibrant little spot takes its aesthetic inspiration from the classic bodega: Note the bathroom door, plastered with boxes of Fruity Pebbles, and �lampshades� made from tins of La Morena pickled jalapeños. But the vibe’s sexier than that of your corner store, with a dark-red color palette and low lighting. At the winding, 14-seat bar, peppy staffers pour some 120 varietals of rum. Perch on a burlap-sack-upholstered bar stool and order a classic daiquiri ($12) made with piloncillo, the unrefined sugar from Central America.
