    This winter, the designer behind Bed-Vyne Brew and the owner of Bleecker Street fixture Von teamed to quietly open this spot. Similar to Von, Casablanca feels like it’s been in the neighborhood forever, with �refurbished pressed-tin ceilings, a mounted boar’s head, and peeling paint. Bring cash for a classic-cocktail list (old-fashioneds are $11) and beer-and-shot specials (a Point-and-whiskey costs $7). DJs spin mostly funk and soul records for a crowd of longtime locals and recent brownstone-purchasers: Weeknights are relaxed, while on weekends you may encounter a full-on dance party.
