Peel Castle
Situated on St Patrick’s Isle, Peel Castle was once used as a fort for Magnus Barefoot, a Viking King in the 11th century. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll the castle’s extensive grounds, climb to the top of the Gatehouse Tower and enter the 16th century Great Garrison Hall. Peel Castle is also home to Moddey Dhoo – a ghostly apparition of a black dog!
