Sonja Morgan knew enough to not agree to take a Breathalyzer test on the road early Monday morning when she was pulled over by cops in Southampton Village. Unfortunately for her, she didn’t know enough to halt her car at a stop sign on First Neck Lane at 2:16 a.m., which tipped cops off to her condition. And unfortunately for everyone else on the road at the time, she didn’t know enough not to drive after a night of Memorial Day weekend partying. We’ve been watching Sonja in her first season of The Real Housewives of New York City, and the fashionable ex-wife of J.P. Morgan’s great-grandson has reason to want to drink. There’s no excuse for drinking and driving, but if there were such a crime as “justifiable hatchet scalping,” if she were pulled over for that, we’d probably understand.
