During a press conference this afternoon about the “aggressive steps” the Obama administration is taking against WikiLeaks, Hillary Clinton said that foreign diplomats understand that the public niceties and private jabs are par for the course of international relations. The secretary of State added that one of her counterparts even quipped, “Well, don’t worry about it — you should see what we say about you.” There are almost too many frenemies to hazard a guess as to who said that, but our money’s on Afghanistan.
