Last week, Google announced that anyone interested in getting their hands on a Google Glass before its release to the general public should tweet their inspired, creative ideas for how they would use their cyborg glasses alongside the hashtag #ifihadglass. (Example: “I would go to the poorest regions in the world wearing Glass and stream the lifestyles of people in an attempt to stop poverty. #ifihadglass“) Even if you’re chosen as a Google Glass Explorer, you’d have to pay the gadget’s $1,500 price tag, but the idea is that you’d at least have the privilege of being a Glass first-adopter. With the competition now officially closed, we thought we’d look back at some of the people who definitely did not win.
