There’s no doubt that the punk-metal riffs on Motörizer, Motörhead’s 21st studio album, have a little something in common with those on their 18th, 19th, and 20th. The trademark gurgling growl of 62-year-old front man Lemmy Kilmister, however, improbably gains gravitas with every subsequent release, so much so that lyrics like, “Gonna run away, gonna run amok, gonna run my mouth till I run out of luck,” track as positively sage.
