Trey Speegle’s colorful, paint-by-number-inspired exhibition at the Benrimon Contemporary, “It’s Not About You,” comes with its very own Haringesque pop-up shop. The RePop Shop features products from Speegle’s recent collaboration with Anthropologie: colorful housewares like plate sets, pillows, and wallpaper. Polyurethane Goes Psychedelic
The art started oozing from the walls at the New Museum this week: A retrospective on the artist Lynda Benglis features a polyurethane-foam sculpture series that looks not unlike glow-in-the-dark lava. Also on view are her bronze casts, wax reliefs, and videos, drawn from various periods of her 40-year career (235 Bowery, at Prince St.; 212-219-1222; through 6/19).
