Since opening his gallery Espasso at 38 N. Moore Street in 2002, São Paulo native Carlos Junqueira has showcased the best in Brazilian twentieth-century design. Now, in a move to offer more products in the same cutting-edge design vernacular, he’s presenting a curated collection of home accessories in the gallery that are also available online, such as this ice bucket by Isay Weinfeld. The bucket is made of two pieces: the inner bucket, which is available in either metal or silver, within the carved outer shell of FSC-certified wood. Photo: Courtesy of Espasso

The Origami pitcher is the result of a collaborative effort on the part of Rubens Simões, the founder of design firm Riva, and sixteen students from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan who worked together on a breakfast line. This modernist pitcher, available in silver-plated steel or titanium, would be right at home in James Bond’s kitchen. Photo: Courtesy of Espasso

The modernist bride or groom would be smart to add this set of flatware”either in boxes of sixteen settings or 130 pieces”to a gift registry. The Jararaca collection by Arthur Casas and Rubens Simões is inspired by the geometry of a South American snake’s head called bothrops jararaca. The case comes in freijo wood or stainless steel. Rubens Simões’s Gioia Tea and Coffee set is not only brilliant to behold, but the lids of the pitchers are magnetic, ensuring that hot water won’t spill all over the table during tea parties. Photo: Courtesy of Espasso
