Greg Mitchell is a very recent transplant (just one month!) from L.A.’s Echo Park with big ambitions for his eponymous design business (gregmitchelldesign.com). “If you want to create a stir, you have to come to New York,” he says, “and I wanted to know if I could create a stir.” Based on my visit this week to his sublet studio in Ridgewood, Queens, my bet is yes, he can.
