The Fort Collins newspaper, The Coloradoan, has gotten ahold of a copy of a search-warrant affidavit that says Mayumi Heene, wife of Richard Heene and mother of “balloon boy” Falcon, told investigators that she and her husband planned the balloon hoax two weeks prior to the incident, knew all along that Falcon was hiding at home, and instructed their kids to lie to investigators, all in a bid to get “media interest.”
