You weren’t just complaining about the heat this month because it’s summer and you’re a New Yorker and that’s what you do in the summer; it really was that hot. So hot, in fact, that when it’s all said and done, July could go down in the record books as the hottest month ever recorded in New York City history although if temperatures drop just a bit below predictions, it’ll come in second to July 1999.
