
Newsweek, the magazine that put a hashtag on its final printed cover, is still “publishing” as a weekly subscription-only tablet app, but don’t get too attached: “For a news magazine, which is a bit of an odd phrase today, it was not possible to print it any longer. We said we will offer digital products. We have a very solid newsroom,” IAC chairman Barry Diller told Bloomberg TV today. “We will see. I do not have great expectations. I wish I had not brought Newsweek. It was a mistake.” It doesn’t get much more clear than that.
