Profile
One of the sparkling gems at the unassuming, slightly crunchy Soho Health & Wellness Center is Julia March Integral Skin Care, a one-room, one-woman operation established in 2002 that specializes in top-of-the-line facials. Here, the delightful Julia March employs a whole person approach to skincare, starting with an intensive sit-down consultationassessing skin problems, medical conditions, diet, sleep habits, and stress levelto determine the best facial for each client. Believing that the skin reflects inner health, March integrates her Slovak grandmother’s traditional beauty secrets (masks of sour cream and fresh berries) with the latest skincare technology, and accents it all with her training in Vortex Healing, reiki, reflexology, and massage. Her most lavish treatment is the two-hour Alpha State Facial, which uses the Future-Tec system (comprised of laser, microcurrent, ultrasound, and vacuum) to exfoliate, plump fine lines, and stimulate collagen; massage and energy work is also incorporated to bring active brain waves to a resting (alpha) state. All treatments are finished with a hand, arm, neck, and shoulder massage and foot reflexology, leaving the body blissfully relaxed and recharged. With the assistance of her divine-smelling productsby Luzern, Anakiri, Environ, and Shiraand her package incentives, March makes it easy to get on track to healthy, glowing skin and physical well-being.
SalesThe Spa Gym package allows clients to book six monthly treatments (in advance) at ten percent off, with the last treatment free. True diehards can book ten monthly treatments at fifteen percent off, with the last two free. A website coupon gives first-time clients a ten percent discount.
