There may not be much new about director Gavin O’Connor’s cop-corruption drama, but it’s packed with enough gritty action and unflinching violence to keep things interesting. Edward Norton and Colin Farrell star as the brothers-in-law at the heart of the case, with Noah Emmerich in an understated, one-to-watch performance as their conflicted cohort. — Sara Cardace
