FIT grad Lauren Silverstein stocks her spacious boutique with a host of flirty dresses and layerable basics, filling carved wooden bookshelves with Michael Stars and Beautiful People tees and tanks in every color. Gauzy Tracy Reese sundresses, neon denim skirts by 4 Stroke, and vintage-inspired paisley frocks from Hale Bob mingle on packed metal racks in the spring, while colder months bring a bounty of Qi cashmere and long-sleeved tops by Sharon Segal. Simple glass shelves display accessories like Subversive’s edgy, charm-decked necklaces and metallic leather handbags and jackets by hard-to-find brand Las Pepas. The flower-adorned sitting area and a medley of magazines near the front window add to the boutique’s comfortable vibe, as does Silverstein’s little sisterand the boutique’s namesakeAmalia, who works the register.
