A bakery case displays pastel treats made especially for dogs: A bone-shaped cookie covered in pink sprinkles, for example, is made from molasses, yogurt, and carob, and a freezer full of banana-based birthday cakes are safe for owners and pets to share. Offbeat accessories hang on one wall, like New York Jets dog jerseys. All of the machine-washable pet beds can be designed to match owners’ home décor, and the clothing and harnesses can be customized to any cat or dog’s measurements. The on-site groomer offers flea baths, teeth brushings, scissor cuts, and hand stripping (a rare style of plucking for dogs that have unique hair types).
