This fashion-forward accessories shop is stocked with an enviable array of designer shoes, bags, sunglasses, and more, catering to downtowners who might otherwise head uptown to Barneys. The spot is designed to resemble a style-savvy library: Built-in bookshelves are filled with books on art, architecture, and fashion alongside sandals, leather purses, and studded belts from designers like Alaïa, Givenchy, and Nina Ricci. A rolling wooden ladder is propped against the shelves for browsing out-of-reach selections. In back, a cozy nook is adorned with a fireplace, a zebra-print rug, and antique British tea sets, where shoppers try on shoes and flip through coffee-table tomes from custom-made hooded wingback chairs in hunter-green velvet. A restored antique armoire bears Chloé and Proenza Schouler sunglasses, silk scarves, and cashmere stockings, while teetering heels and fresh-from-the-runway booties perch on suspended stacks of artist biographies (an illusion created by co-owner Ryan Korban using texts from the Strand). This well-curated Tribeca shop offers couture accessories and hard-to-find ready-to-wear shoes, plus an array of British labels. Nude silk pumps from Jerome Rousseau ($218) and punky pink satin pumps from Vivienne Westwood ($208) are among the wedding-appropriate styles.
