Inspired by an Italian palazzo, Emilio Pucci’s flagship store is decked out in solemn marble, glinting brass, and lofted ceilings�a dramatic setting to showcase the brand’s signature bright and psychedelic prints. The four-chambered store offers apparel for all occasions in never-repeating patterns and flexible fabrics. In the front room are day dresses for the professional life, such as the green, military-style shirtdress modeled by a contrasting aubergine mannequin. Through an open doorway, cocktail dresses and solid-color sheaths with plunging sweetheart necklines filled in by lace or chiffon brush up against draping silk shirts in classic Pucci prints. Shoes and purses embellished with the brand’s traditional buckle-like gold hardware are lined up on one wall. At the back, marble flooring gives way to plush, purple carpet, and floor-length evening gowns streaked with sequins and beads tower over accompanying clutches. Through a tall, mirrored door, bikinis, cover-ups, and rope-handled bags lie ready for a trip to Capri. — Ashley Taylor
