Best known for the fantastic fit of his long-legged, low-slung pants, Alvin Valley has quickly become a force in the New York fashion community. Born in New York but raised in Spain, the Cuban-American Valley was influenced by female sensuality from an early age. After graduating from the University of Miami, he opened his first boutique in Coconut Grove, Florida. A devoted cult following soon ensued, and in 2000, Valley headed north to New York City to develop his first full collection. His clothing can now be found in more than 250 stores nationwide, and his fan base has grown to include such figures as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Cameron Diaz.
