Turkish-born Atil Kutoglu studied business administration in Vienna, completing
his studies there 1991. That same year, he presented his first
collection with help from the mayor of Vienna. He has won several
awards, including the City of Munich Prize for Best Fashion
Newcomer in 1992, the Best Austrian Fashion Designer in 1994,
and the Salzburg Prize in 1997. Despite his continued residency
in Vienna, Kutoglu is known for the Asian influence that always
characterizes his collections. |
