Hailed by Vogue as two of the "Top 10 American Designers," Mark Badgley and James Mischka have made their mark on evening wear by bringing back classic Hollywood glamour and style to modern clothes. The designers met in the 1980s while studying at Parsons School of Design in New York and found that they shared a similar design aesthetic: "One zip and you're dressed." Since joining forces in 1988 as Badgley Mischka, the pair has captivated the fashion press with a style that caters to a younger, more modern couture customer. Badgley and Mischka continue to expand their horizons, having introduced bridalwear, evening-bag and shoe collections. The duo's designs have been worn by Winona Ryder, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Hurley, Mira Sorvino and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
