Best known for his couture line, Bradley Bayou recently took over as the Creative Director of Halston. A Texas native, Bayou studied fine art in his home state and began a career in the fine arts. Joining Halston in December 2002, Bayou launched his first couture collection for Fall 2003, and calls the relationship with the label a natural one: "There is no designer in the world who hasn't been influenced and inspired by Halston." Bayou hopes to use Halston's original brand values to establish a line as successful as the original. Today's Halston, Bayou declares, will not be about "bringing him back," but instead bringing his original style up to modern times.
