Lloyd Klein has had a love affair with fashion for years. After attending an haute couture Givenchy runway show in his twenties, Klein's fascination with fashion design completely took over. Without any formal training, Klein began a study of designers such as Yves St. Laurent and Halston and in 1994 he debuted his own collection in Paris. The following season he became the head designer for the exclusive Maison Mme Gres. In 1998, Klein set up company headquarters for his own line in the U.S.; his first 7th on Sixth show was in September of 1999. Celebrities who wear his creations include Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellweger, Gwen Stefani, Eve, Kate Beckinsale, Angela Bassett, and Kristin Davis.
