A native of Valencia, Spain, Manuel Fernandez started in the fashion business in 1982 and created his own brand in 1985. He is known for his use of luxury fabrics, and his collection is characterized by an eclectic influence: Fernandez combines classic European design with the rich cultural heritage of his native town. In the nineties, he presented the first ecological collection for "Happy Furs" - the only collection of recyclable ecological fur - and has created collections exclusively for theater, cinema, and television. Since 1999, he has designed the wardrobe for opera singer Ainhoa Arteta.
