Man charged after boy, 4, hit by taxi in Edinburgh

A 76-year-old man has been charged after a four-year-old boy was hit by a taxi in Edinburgh last week.
The child was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children after the incident on South Gyle Broadway, near to Burne Cruick. He was released after treatment for minor injuries.
Officers said the taxi driver stopped after the incident on 15 April, but then left the scene without giving their details.
Police Scotland said a report would be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
