Katya Adler

Katya is the BBC’s Europe editor. She has covered stories of major social, political and economic significance, such as the Madrid train bombings, intra-European tensions over the Iraq War, the eurozone crisis and the death of Pope John Paul II. Katya has worked for the BBC as a presenter, correspondent and an investigative reporter. She speaks fluent Spanish, German, Italian and French.
