
Agnes Gund and Simon Doonan are among seven “honorary Latinos” recruited by El Museo del Barrio’s benefit committee to help chair the museum’s annual gala next month. (A $20 million renovation is under way.) “Simon Doonan is the funniest—he is the furthest from a Latino I could ever possibly get, yet his spirit seemed to fit right in,” says fashion illustrator Ruben Toledo, who drew a portrait of the committee that’s going to be auctioned off.
