Madonna’s got a secret. She’s having issues with monogamy—with designers, not husbands. She seems to be double-timing Jean Paul Gaultier, her costume collaborator since the 1990 “Blond Ambition” tour (cone bra, anyone?), with Tuleh, the small, New York–based fashion line that she became enamored of during a recent W magazine photo shoot. A Tuleh spokesperson confirmed that Madonna will wear one of designer Bryan Bradley’s creations during her new “Confessions” tour—which opened in L.A. on Sunday—in addition to Gaultier’s designs, which appeared in sketch form in last Monday’s Women’s Wear Daily. Adding insult to injury, Madge has apparently neglected to inform Gaultier. When asked if Gaultier minded sharing the bill, his publicist expressed disbelief. “Jean Paul designed the whole tour, exclusively,” she insisted. Madonna’s rep didn’t return calls.
