The latest quirky Lower East Side design store is Superdeluxe (187 Chrystie St., nr. Rivington St.; 212-260-8300). The kitschy space has high-quality stationery with pop designs (cards $5), locally designed jewelry ($50 to $3,000), and contemporary silk-screened portraits by one of the ex-graphic-designer owners (from $600).

In other hipster news, Maiden Brooklyn (252 Grand St., nr. Roebling St., Williamsburg, Brooklyn; 718-384-1967) is a raw DIY space with silk-screened tees, embroidered bags, and handmade jewelry. Also: John Derian’s second location (10 E. 2nd St., nr. Bowery; 212-677-3917) has more bedding, linens, and clothes, and Shizuka New York’s tranquil spa (7 W. 51st St., nr. Fifth Ave., sixth fl.; 212-644-7400) has relocated to a larger space.
