Discuss Crime Stories With Carolyn Murnick and Adam Sternbergh at the Strand

Join senior editor Carolyn Murnick and culture editor Adam Sternbergh for a discussion about true and fictionalized stories of murder and crime with Vulture books editor Boris Kachka. Carolyn Murnick’s debut memoir, The Hot One, chronicles the 2001 murder of her best friend in her Hollywood home — the man charged with her murder is an alleged serial killer currently awaiting trial in L.A. In The Blinds, Adam Sternbergh imagines a dusty Texas town populated by criminals — people plucked from their lives, with their memories altered, who’ve been granted new identities and a second chance. Admission is free — bring your friends!
