Presenting New York Magazine’s Winter Weddings Issue

The winter 2016 issue of New York Weddings.

The winter 2016 issue of New York’s semiannual “Weddings” issue hits newsstands this Monday, October 26 (and is available for purchase online).

Inside the issue, you’ll find advice from an array of experts, including: a DJ on how the playlist should be geared toward keeping the party going, a men’s tailor on going beyond the typical blacks and grays, and a makeup artist on why you should try Korean beauty products, as well as festive invites; green bouquets packed with succulents, jade roses, lily grass, and jasmine that make just as much of a statement as multicolored flowers; moody cakes topped in chocolate frosting, Gothic flowers, and dusty panels — like you’re marrying Tim Burton; the everything guide to the social-media-optimized wedding; and much more.

Of the inspiration behind the cover, which features a crystal-beaded floral-lace cape with Swarovski crystals by Naeem Khan, editor Alexis Swerdloff says, “We liked its simple, elegant, but kind of a little badass ’60s vibe.”
