Mark Harris to Write Monthly Column for Vulture

New York Magazine digital editor Ben Williams announced today that Mark Harris will write a monthly column for Vulture, focused on the most significant figures in culture and entertainment and the issues that surround them. The first column will run in March.

“Mark is one of the very best culture journalists in America, and we are fortunate to bring his voice to Vulture,” says Williams.

Harris is the author of the New York Times best sellers Pictures at a Revolution (2008) and Five Came Back (2014), and is currently working on a biography of Mike Nichols. He has been a contributor to New York since 2008, with cover stories on Oscar campaigning and Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Network, among other noteworthy pieces. He has written about pop culture for many publications, including the New York Times, Time, GQ, and Entertainment Weekly, and was most recently a columnist at Grantland. He lives in New York with his husband, Tony Kushner.
