Vulture Comedy Featuring Splitsider Launches

Vulture Comedy, the entertainment site’s new department featuring Splitsider, has officially launched, bringing readers the best comedy coverage on the internet. This week Vulture Comedy will run a deluge of features, including an In Conversation with Bill Burr, a profile of Retta, a ranking of every Netflix comedy special, an essay on the rise of queer comedy, advice for comedians struggling to get their work noticed, and much more. Vulture’s podcast about jokes, Good One, sponsored by Spotify and now produced in partnership with HeadGum, returns this week for its third season with an episode featuring John Mulaney. Splitsider’s long-running columns highlighting the week’s best web videos, comedy podcast episodes, and Twitter comedians will make their Vulture Comedy debuts, and some of Splitsider’s greatest hits, including “The Complete History of ‘SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy” and “A Comprehensive Collection of Comedians Tweeting About Their Flights,” will be recirculated throughout the week.

Splitsider’s Twitter and Facebook accounts will share the most comprehensive comedy coverage, and Splitsider’s revamped, twice-weekly newsletter debuts this week and will include exclusive content.

Splitsider was acquired by Vulture parent company New York Media from the Awl Network in March. Splitsider’s archives have now been migrated to Vulture, and Splitsider.com will redirect to Vulture.com/comedy.
