New York writer-at-large Rebecca Traister profiles Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren for the magazine’s July 23 - August 5 cover story, as Warren campaigns for reelection, and works to move her party through the perilous wilderness of the Donald Trump administration. In the absence of a clear favorite to challenge Trump, Warren has emerged in just the past few weeks as the de facto leader of the Democratic Party, and accordingly, the candidate-of-the-moment for 2020. This is Traister’s first magazine feature since returning from book leave to write Good and Mad: The Revolutionary Power of Women’s Anger, out October 2nd from Simon & Schuster.
