Home Design 2002 - Keith McNally Home Photo Tour

"The best moments of working on the house came when Alina and I would surreptitiously spend all night repainting a wall the painters had just very carefully finished that day." The surface of the door to the McNally's basement wine cellar was constructed out of recycled wooden wine crates; the walls are lined with much-painted beadboard. The red-and-white vinyl composition tile is from Aronson's (135 W. 17th St.; 212-243-4993).
