Aram designed the table from a slab of Indian hardwood that takes a dark
stain and has a rough, sinewy texture; the ends and the supports are
stainless steel. A simple fireplace is visible at rear.
The feathered wall piece is actually a ceremonial headdress from Cameroon
(similar ones are available at Tucker Robbins, 33–02 Skillman Ave.,
fourth fl., Long Island City; 718-764-0222 ).
