Fernandez designed
the model-skinny table, wrapping a sheet of stainless steel around
wood. "The table becomes a light fixture," he says. "Even
though it does not have light, it reflects light." The
chairs are seventies rubber, the only furniture held over from the
apartment's previous incarnation. Even Krolik's table settings continue
the flotation theme: She designed the silk-organza napkins, available
at Bergdorf Goodman; the dishes
are glass with a suspended color, purchased at DKNY.
The knock-kneed glasses are from Moss.
