Following a one-year hiatus, the BKLYN Designs expo returns to Dumbo May 10 to 12, filling St. Ann’s Warehouse with plywood chandeliers, hand-sculpted trivets, and other forward-thinking furnishings (29 Jay St., nr. Plymouth St.; tickets from $15 at bklyndesigns.com). Among the 35 jury-selected exhibitors this year is Williamsburg engineer Caleb Zipperer, whose neon-trimmed, 24-karat-gilded side table (price upon request at zippererstudio.com) is modeled after the borough’s 1,390-unit Farragut Houses.
