Now in its eleventh year, the Affordable Art Fair is a mecca for budget-minded collectors and decorators. The four-day event (7 W. 34th St., nr. Fifth Ave.; April 19 to 22; $12) showcases contemporary art from more than 75 galleries in the relatively accessible $100-to-$10,000 range; half the work is under $5,000. The assemblage features original paintings, sculptures, mixed media, photographs, and prints, including a Damien Hirst woodcut for $1,500, a ceramic face sculpture by Johan Thunell for $380, and a silver-and-resin-enhanced woodland photo by Albert Delamour for $1,000. Twenty-three New York galleries are participating this year, representing local talents like Françoise Ben Arous and Mauricio Morillas.
