Brides of all ages with mild to severe thinning hair are transformed into lush-maned beauties by owner Elline Surianello’s chic answer to a hairpiece, the Grid: a kind of silk toupee with Italian hair woven in just the right places to fill bald spots (from $1,000; comes in three sizes and various textures). Six weeks after Surianello designs it, a trained dresser will snap it in (with camouflaged plastic clips), then cut and style it.
