Patricia Field’s new megastore brings 4,000 square feet of leopard print, patent leather, and pink boas to the Bowery. Far outstripping her old Hotel Venus space, the designer’s self-titled, bi-level store (302 Bowery, nr. Bleecker St.; 212-966-4066) adds hair and makeup services, plus skin-care products from Jun Nakayama. Of course, still expect to see wacky fashions from Field’s own label, as well as Heatherette, Hysteric Glamour, and White Trash Charms.
C.P.W. Kids is following in the footsteps of the adult outlet with easy-to-wear separates from Joe’s Jeans, C&C California, and vintage Lacoste (495 Amsterdam Ave., at 84th St.; 212-579-3737). Soho brings handcrafted enamel bangles, earrings, and necklaces—all encrusted with diamonds—to, oddly enough, Nolita (228 Mott St., nr. Prince St.; 212-219-3734).
