Five-year-old skin-care line Orogold, which made a name for itself with 24-karat-gold-infused moisturizers, launches its first New York store on June 16 (118 E. 57th St., nr. Park Ave.; 212-371-7242). The gilded space specializes in splurgy day, night, and eye creams starting at $98. Each product incorporates Orogold’s namesake in one of two ways: as metallic flecks, believed to brighten the complexion, or as a fast-penetrating “nano” liquid, said to boost circulation and thus smooth wrinkles. The boutique will also exclusively introduce a 24K Gold Caviar Collection (from $3,000), using antioxidant-rich fish eggs as its (other) big selling point.
