For some, dressing up for Halloween means naughty-cop uniforms and Miley Cyrus–inspired twerkin’-teddy leotards. For the Greenpoint-based purveyors of online vintage shop NiftyThrifty—who are hosting a Halloween pop-up inside a Williamsburg barbershop from October 25 through 27 (Seven Stars Beauty Salon, 556 Grand St., nr. Lorimer St.; no phone)—there are embroidered geisha kimonos from the sixties ($40), angora-wool ballerina leg warmers from the seventies ($15), and checkered lumberjack flannels from the nineties ($40). The racks, which include vintage prom dresses and varsity jackets and props like eighties pom-poms, are organized by clothing type (shirts, skirts, jumpsuits), inviting shoppers to build their own caricatures.
