Tap into the perks and opportunities of the credit cards in your wallet. From points transfer bonuses to new lounges, these are some of the latest benefits worth exploring before your next trip. There are even some surprise bonuses that even the most savvy loyalty fans may have missed due to recent updates. Here’s what you need to know to stay up to date for the spring.

Chase Freedom adds surprise bonuses

Throughout the month, the brand is celebrating its 15th anniversary by offering more opportunities to earn its 5x bonus point opportunities when using the Chase Freedom or Freedom Flex cards. In addition to its quarterly bonuses on rotating categories, it is also adding insurance and tax preparation services if purchased using the card before the end of the month. These expenses can be quite high and result in a notable increase in points earning. The bonus points are eligible on up to $1,500 in spending.

Transfer bonuses galore

There are a lot of opportunities to move points from your credit card balance to several frequent flyer programs. If you have Chase Ultimate Rewards, you can earn a 20% bonus when transferring to Aer Lingus, British Airways or Iberia. Within these programs, you can then move those points to other Avios-participating airlines like Finnair and Qatar Airways. This bonus is valid through the month of March.

Citi ThankYou points can also be moved from your Citi account to Qatar Airways with a 20% bonus between now and March 15. American Express has its own transfer bonus offering 20% to move points from Membership Rewards to Qatar Airways any time this month.

If it’s hotel points you’re after, Chase Ultimate Rewards has a special promotion with Marriott Bonvoy this month offering a 50% bonus on all transfers. Chase points are very valuable, and this is not the best use of those points. But, if you are short on Marriott points for an upcoming reservation, this could be the right time to transfer them. Between now and March 14, you can also swap American Express Membership Rewards points to Hilton Honors with a 25% bonus.

Capital One adds new transfer partner

Capital One Rewards are now even more valuable thanks to its newest transfer partner, JetBlue’s TrueBlue program. You can move points from Capital One to JetBlue at a ratio of 5 credit card points to 3 airline miles.

United opens new Club Fly lounge

If you have a United Club membership or the United Club Infinite Card that comes with lounge access, you have a new lounge option in Houston. The United Club Fly lounge is a grab-and-go facility offering specialty coffee, non-alcoholic drinks, sandwiches, packages snacks, salads and pastries to enjoy on your flight. This is the second Club Fly lounge in the United Club network following its first opening in Denver. The new lounge is on the south side of Terminal B and has some drinks that are unique to Houston like the Lavender Matcha Latte and Blueberry Acai “Galaxy” Latte.

Chase adds Philadelphia to lounge network

Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club has a new club in Philadelphia despite being a long walk from most gates for American Airlines travelers, the primary occupant of the airport. A short elevator ride or stairway up to the lounge takes travelers to a stunning lounge with a beautiful cocktail bar and day spa with complimentary facial treatments. There is also a video game play area, work space, brewery with local beers honoring the historic Blue Anchor Tavern and locally roasted coffee from Elixr Coffee.

Capital One opens new lounge in Las Vegas

Growing its network of lounges, Capital One now has a new, art-filled space in Las Vegas to greet its cardholders. This is the fourth airport lounge for the brand. It features locally sourced ingredients on its menu including things like chili crisp sweet potato hash and caviar deviled eggs. It also has a grab-and-go selection for travelers in a hurry and want to have a snack along their journey. Local micro roaster Vesta Micro Roaster provides the drip coffee selection. New for the Capital One lounge network is the ability to add wellness boosts to drinks like “nano potassium, purple passionflower, nano magnesium, ashwagandha or liposomal vitamin c.”

American Express Member Week comes back

Between March 17 and 21, eligible American Express cardholders can benefit from this week of special promotions. While the brand has not revealed the specific details of what’s on offer, you can find them in your online account. Past deals have included hundreds of dollars’ worth of statement credits to various retailers and dining venues. There have also been special invitations in select cities hosted by Resy and Topgolf.

Chase Offers add new wellness and health savings

Many credit cards offer special deals for cardholders that must be activated within your account. Then, when you make a purchase with a brand that has a special offer, you are eligible for a special perk or discount. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers are eligible for one free year of premium membership to the Calm app to improve sleep and meditation. Chase Sapphire Preferred members receive a 50% discount. Other wellness services, like doctor-based services and even full-body MRI scans, are eligible for significant discounts for a limited time.
