We decided not to bring this feature to the BBC Sounds app. App alarms are difficult to make reliable and we feel we should be focusing our development on other features.
Fortunately, alarm clocks are available on all smart phones. If you need help with using the alarm on your device, the following links may prove helpful:

In the future, we hope to work with Apple and Google to enable Sounds to integrate better with the alarm clocks built into their operating systems.
