If You’re Going to Buy One Thing Today, Make It a Pair of MNZ Boots

We know that Cyber Monday can be overwhelming, so in the interest of saving you time with just the deals you’d actually want, our editors will each be selecting just one great discounted thing (okay, plus a few honorable mentions) that you should really spend your money on. Below, associate editor Katy Schneider on unmissable lavender boots.

It’s Cyber Monday, an event I forgot about when I ordered my new bed frame yesterday for many more dollars than I would have paid for it today. I hope all of our Strat readers were smarter than this Strat writer and decided to wait until now to do their big-ticket-item shopping.

Had I not spent all of my money on a moments-away-from-being-on-sale bed, I suspect I’d have purchased these rarely-on-sale Maryam Nassir Zadeh boots, which I found for a very good price this morning while feverishly scrolling through the sale section of every website I’ve ever shopped at my entire life, including Petit Bateau (whose, I suppose I should mention, iconic cardigans are currently 50 percent off) and a store I bought perfect jeans at once in Nashville (20 percent off, this day holds an embarrassment of riches).

Besides the fact that MNZ boots are impossibly expensive and getting them brand-new for $400 is a major coup, this pair is just especially lovely. They’re suede and round-toed without being too round-toed, with a nice mid-level heel. And they’re lavender, which is (according to the New York Times, whose predictions have admittedly not been perfect as of late) the next millennial pink — so by buying them, you’ll ostensibly be getting a jump on next year’s fall shopping, too.

If you’re the type of person to shop with foresight, you might also consider a pair of 20 percent off MNZ sandals in cherry red, which (a) I own, (b) I bought for a lot more than you could today, (c) I promise you will sell out quickly because they’re beautiful and timeless, and (d) would be really nice to pack for any upcoming, or even not-so-upcoming, warm-place vacations.

Original Price: $420

And one for the less-color-inclined shopper.

Original Price: $409
